YTJ, Finnish Business Information System (BIS) is a joint register of Trade register and Tax Administration. In customers' eyes, BIS unites functionally two authorities, thus cutting back red tape. Main services:
Joint register includes 6 main registers of the both authorities (eg. VAT, employer etc). With one form a business can register in all the ones needed.
Joint register and common ID serves control purposes and checkup needs: millions of searches are made annually in the BIS search in order to check the register status of a business companion.
