According to the Swedish Bankers Association the total amount of B2C e-invoices increased
by 44 % during the years 2007–2008 in Sweden. The total amount of e-invoices sent to the Swedish consumers was 26 million in 2008.

Internet bank payments are also becoming more popular in Sweden. Now 9 % of e-invoices are paid through the internet bank. Every fourth internet bank customer is willing to receive invoices electronically.
