The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has decided to give up paper tickets issued by travel agencies from the beginning of June 2008.

Electronic tickets will bring savings to travel agencies and airlines and more flexibility to passangers. Also, approximately 25 000 000 square meters of forest will be saved annually.

Finnair is showing good example by already selling 96 percent of its tickets as e-tickets.
